Anyway,I've been doing well recently.I went to Park Hyatt on Wednesday which is an awesome 5 stars hotel in Melbourne for my work experience.I'm really appreciate it even though I'm paid only 5 bucks per day =p
I've been working in the room service department for the first shift,there will be another shift on next Wednesday.Before that,I was like WTH is room service and I thought I was going to do the housekeeping stuff again which is really really tiring,Room service is actually quite different from housekeeping,housekeeping is more of like cleaning that kind of heavy job.Room service is basically about deliver the food that have been ordered by the guests,collect the dirty trolley,clean the trolley,re-setting up the trolley,remove the food remnants which was extremely gross!I wonder why some people just left the trolley that having food remnants in their room for the whole night,I can't even stand the smell -.-
The most interesting part was the hospital will send the mothers who have just born their little babies to the hotel,babies were wrapped in "kebab" look,very quiet and they didn't even move,just like some kind of doll, and guess what!Everything is free!they can just order whatever they want,and they don't have to pay for the room as well.So good to be an Australian!My friend told me that he might get married with an Australian girl as his back-up plan if his girlfriend dumped him. He might just get some random girl on the street and make her pregnant,is it consider rape?LOL that was what he told me! XD
And also, room service is about efficient service,everything has to done in the short time.The trolleys with those plates,cups,glasses on them,I actually don't think the ordinary girl can make it,because they were kinda heavy,luckily I'm strong enough to handle them.And also,the uneven floor and my stupid slippery shoe made me really slow,but at least I didn't break anything,that was a good start for me =p
That day was my lucky day,I started to work at 9.30am after Joanne's briefing and then I finished at 2.30pm,but then my friend has to work until 5.00pm++,the worst thing was the Hyatt people was actually forgot he supposed to finish at 5.00pm haha too bad =p
I smell like some kind of food,because I've been working in the kitchen,that was really embarrassing,because I was pretty sure that everyone on the tram can actually smell the strange smell from me.oh well,I'll bring along my perfume next week then =p
p/s:I just bought the amazing DSLR!I love it so much!I was thinking should I put it into the safety locker to keep it safely or away from the dust?hahaha -.- and...I need models! =(
